Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Shia Labeouf ... Orlando Brown?
The 23-year-old actor and rapper has allegedly joined the ranks of former Disney stars behaving badly after he was arrested on a drunk driving charge in Los Angeles, reports United Press International.
Brown was initially pulled over for a routine traffic stop because he did not have a license plate, authorities said. After smelling alcohol on Brown, the Los Angeles Police Department West Traffic Divison conducted field sobriety tests, which Brown reportedly failed. He almost got away with it, too - police pulled over the actor in front of his house.
Brown was released on his own recognizance from the Hollywood station the Saturday morning following his arrest after he posted $15,000 bail, UPI stated. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 8.
If he is convicted of a misdemeanor DUI, it may not necessarily mean jail time for Brown if it's his first offense. Instead, Brown would likely get sentenced to probation, have his license suspended, and be required to complete an alcohol education, assessment and treatment program. He may even be able to contest the DUI charge with the assistance of a Los Angeles DUI attorney.
The actor is best known for his work as Eddie Thomas on the Disney Channel's "That's So Raven," in which he plays the older brother to Raven Symone's character.
Authorities also said that Brown's pregnant girlfriend was also in the car.
A drunk driving charge and premarital sex? That's so not Disney, Orlando Brown.
